The “Hong Kong Special Olympics Family Health Forum 2026,” proudly supported by our club, was successfully held on Saturday, August 15, at Sha Tin Public School, warmly gathering around 100 Special Olympics athletes and caregivers.
Centering on the theme “Live a Great Posture: Correct Posture Comes First for Holistic Well-being,” the forum kicked off with an opening ceremony. A professional physiotherapist then delivered a keynote speech on spinal health and demonstrated practical stretching exercises, prompting enthusiastic participation from the crowd.
The subsequent session featured four highly engaging interactive stations:
- Nutritional Assessment: Providing personalized dietary guidance.
- Cardiovascular AGE Screening: Evaluating risks to safeguard heart health.
- DIY Mosaic Coaster Workshop: Enjoying precious parent-child bonding handcraft time.
- Interactive Game Booths: Training hand-eye coordination amid joy and laughter.
The meaningful afternoon concluded beautifully as our club representatives distributed curated blessing goodie bags to every attendee.
