The COVID-19 pandemic has been adversely affecting the local economy and unemployment rate is soaring. The livelihood of grassroot families has been worsening.
Therefore, the Lions Clubs International District 303, Hong Kong & Macao, China is organizing hunger relief services called「獅子與您『飯飯掂』」and deliver meal boxes to those who are in need. Target groups include : low income families, the lone elderlies, single-parent families, South Asian families.
We fully supported the service and distributed 200 meal boxes and 100 meal boxes together with 100 lucky bags to “Healthy and Sustainable Life in Shek Kip Mei” Community Support and Networking Project & Tsuen Wan Koo Yeung Pong Community Service Office in Dec 2021 and May 2022 respectively.
